Steve Knox, a 30 year technology industry expert is the co-founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Ivycorp. Steve is the architect and lead developer of Ivytalk; an enterprise grade, multi-channel, group messaging platform. His expertise includes system architecture and design, large-scale, n-tier distributed systems, and general communications and network applications using standard and custom protocols.
Previously Mr. Knox was the founder of IS Squared a software and systems consulting company serving customers including Sony, AT&T, Motorola, and Eli Lilly. In the early 90’s he also founded Driftwood Systems, a company developing mobile communications software.
Steve is a Past Chairman and 10-year board member of the American Electronics Association (AeA) Washington Council Executive Committee. Steve also served two terms as a member of the AeA national board of directors. AeA (recently re-branded as Tech America) was the largest high-tech trade association in the U.S. Steve holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and currently serves on the Washington State University EE/CS Executive Advisory Committee.
Tomas Isaksson brings more than 30 years of international telecommunications experience to Ivycorp. He is the former CEO and Chairman of the Management Board Vodafone Netherlands; CEO Vodafone Americas Region; President Vodafone Global Platform (VGP); member of Verizon Wireless Board of Directors; CEO of Europolitan Holdings AB; and former CEO of Ericsson Radio Systems Inc.
Jim Mullen’s career in accounting and finance spans three decades. Jim was previously Vice President of Finance at aQuantive, Inc. a Seattle-based group of digital marketing services companies. During his five-year tenure at aQuantive, Jim completed a $144 million IPO, an $80 million convertible debt offering and the acquisition and integration of nine companies located in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to aQuantive, Jim was the Corporate Controller for Teledesic, LLC. He also served as Director of Finance, Operations for AT&T Wireless Services, Western Region. Jim began his professional career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1982.
Jim is a devoted advocate and member of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters serving King, Pierce and Jefferson counties. He graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.A. in Accounting.
Phil Cordier’s career includes extensive experience in UNIX systems/network/security administration, development/planning, project management, and quality review. His technical skills include experience with risk assessment, network and host security requirements, high availability and load balancing techniques, performance tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery, network security / firewall design, intrusion detection, and many other aspects of systems/network management. He is Solaris and CISSP certified.
Phil is the former CEO of GridZones.com, a managed IT services firm; Director of IT at IS Squared; and Vice-President and CFO at MindSource Software. His career includes positions at Taos Mountain Software and the Santa Cruz Operation. Phil holds a BA in Information and Computer Sciences from UC Santa Cruz.
